THREE RIVERS CAMP
Three Rivers Camp is the latest addition to the Kafunta Safaris’ portfolio having opened in May 2017. Set at the confluence of the Luangwa, Kapamba and Lusangazi Rivers, this intimate camp offers rich game viewing in an unspoiled setting.
Three Rivers Camp borders South Luangwa National Park with excellent views of Luangwa River and the Kapamba River. It's located approximately 2 hours South of Kafunta River Lodge and a mere 7 km North of Island Bush Camp, giving guests the option to walk between camps.
The camp consists of 5 spacious tents, decorated with natural materials and earthy hues. Each tent has large gauzed windows and its own wooden deck, embracing the extensive views. Each have en-suite bathrooms which include indoor and outdoor showers, double sinks and flushing toilets.
A distinctive feature of each room is its private elevated platform, safely connected to the tent for convenient access day and night. The platform lets you absorb the stunning views by day or sleep under the stars surrounded by sights and sounds of the African bush.
The camp offers game drives in South Luangwa National Park as well as bush walks around the camp area and down the river banks. Short night drives are also offered to spot nocturnal animals. Should you combine Three Rivers Camp with Island Bush Camp, you can decide to walk between the camps while your bags will be transferred separately.
