9 days, cost $1500. Enjoy Mbali Mbali's properties in Tarangire, Katavi, Mahale, Gombe and their brand new lodge in the Serengeti. Whilst we can’t guarantee any specifics, we do try to visit locally competing lodges and camps, to allow you to compare and contrast.
Friday 15th October
TARANGIRE RIVER CAMP
BA flight arrives in Dar at 07:00am. Fly to Arusha and transfer to Tarangire River Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight
Saturday 16th October
SOROI SERENGETI LODGE
Breakfast and return to Arusha for 13:00 flight to Soroi Lodge in the Serengeti. Picnic lunch provided. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight
Sunday 17th October
SOROI SERENGETI LODGE
Breakfast and depart for full day game drive with picnic lunch. Where possible visit other lodges in the area. Dinner and overnight
Monday 18th October
KATUMA BUSH LODGE
Breakfast and depart on 09:00 Seronera flight to Katavi. Short game drive to Katuma Bush Lodge. Lunch and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight
Tuesday 19th October
KATUMA BUSH LODGE
Morning game drive visiting Foxes camp and Nomad's Chada. Return for lunch followed by afternoon walking safari. Dinner and overnight
Wednesday 20th October
KUNGWE BEACH LODGE
After breakfast, Zantas flight to Mahale. Transfer to the lodge by boat (1-2hours). Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon boat safari / snorkelling. Dinner and overnight at Kungwe Beach Lodge
Thursday 21st October
KUNGWE BEACH LODGE
Morning chimpanzee trek. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon fishing / kayaking and visit Greystoke. Dinner and overnight at Kungwe
Friday 22nd October
GOMBE FOREST LODGE
After breakfast, Zantas flight to Kigoma at 09:00am. Transfer by boat to Gombe (approx 2-3 hours). Lunch and afternoon chimp trek. Dinner and overnight at Gombe Forest Lodge
Saturday 23rd October
TRIP ENDS
Breakfast followed by boat trip back to Kigoma for 13:00 flight to Dar Es Salaam. Own arrangements in Dar overnight or onward flight.
