A smart refurb for everyone's favourite chimp hotspot

Gone are the tents, replaced by luxury chalets kitted out with lighter, brighter furniture, décor and soft furnishings. There are also now large glass doors leading to spacious verandahs overlooking the surroundings.

New luxury cottages

All eight superior safari tents have been completely pulled down and in their place are nine brand new luxury cottages! These cottages are far more spacious and airy, with lavish bathrooms, huge glass windows and glass paneled sliding doors allowing the light to come pouring in. The new full-length doors offer 180-degree views of the beautiful surrounding rainforest without guests even having to leave the comfort of their bed. Five of the six new luxury cottages are complete with the final one due to be finished by September.

Exciting plans to maximise guests' stays!

The main building comprising the reception, kitchen, restaurant, bar, office and lounge will also be refurbished with an enlarged kitchen, a new lounge, the bar expanded, new curio shop and a refurbished reception area. Plans are also being made for a new swimming pool as soon as the other refurbs are completed. These remaining projects are due to be finished by September!

The place to begin primate adventures...

Kibale Forest National Park harbours the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in Africa. No less than thirteen different species live in this tropical forest. As Primate Lodge is only a 5 minute walk to the start of the trek, clients can enjoy a more leisurely start for chimp tracking.
