Kiota Camp

Permanently located in central Serengeti, Kiota camp is a year round camp and is perfectly positioned for wildlife viewing the Seronera Valley and nearby areas. The camp opened May 2015 and is the sister camp to Chaka.

Chaka moves to follow the great wildebeest migration, so combing these camps is the perfect way to explore this vast wildlife area.

Owner, Stacy Readal, has paired up with the original design team of Chaka Camp to create Kiota Camp.

The look and feel of Kiota will be different from that of Chaka, but the attention to detail and quality the same. Preparing delicious meals and focusing on a high level of customer service will again be integral parts of the new camp.

Kiota, meaning ‘nest’ in Swahili, will be your clients comfortable home away from home in the middle of the Serengeti.

Kiota Camp will also have the same eco standards that Chaka does, operating off-the-grid and building all furniture with artisans in Arusha.

Ten ensuite tents with have their own private verandahs, soak up the surrounding Serengeti ecosystem.

All tents have king size beds, safari style buckets showers, a private verandah, and indoor and outdoor lounging chairs, perfect for soaking up the surrounding African ambience.

Open vehicle game drives, balloon safaris and guided bush walks are all available.
