Waterberry Zambezi Lodge
From the tranquility of the wilderness to the 'smoke that thunders' - that's Waterberry Zambezi Lodge. Just a 30 minute drive to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, it is located only 20km from Livingstone. Waterberry enjoys a peaceful, yet breathtaking position on the banks of the spectacular Zambezi River, making it perfect for exploring this region.
At Victoria Falls, guests can participate in the wide range of activities available locally (see column opposite) and into neighbouring Botswana and Zimbabwe - including Chobe and Hwange NP's. Particularly pleasant are Waterberry's unique cultural activities - including Maramba market (used by the locals) and a trip to the nearby village (home to many of Waterberry's staff).
Or after all the action, guests can simply relax at Waterberry - on the sun deck, in the bar or round the pool. They also offer island picnics, sunset cruises and barbecues cooked under the stars. Hippo and elephant are regular visitors to Waterberry, especially at dusk, and keen eyed birders can add to their long list of bird sightings.
