Silverback Lodge, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
SilverBack Lodge is the newest lodge in the GeoLodges Uganda portfolio. Opened in June 2008, the SilverBack Lodge completes the dynamic circuit of the portfolio to eco-style living while on safari in Uganda.
This small and cozy lodge is perched on high, atop the valley overlooking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The view is absolutely stunning. Birdwatching and primate viewing is possible right from the front door of your room.
The architectural design is simple and natural, yet filled with the character that GeoLodges Uganda has become known for.

Accommodation
There are seven rooms built next to each other that are designed using local materials, such as the forest vines, sisal rope and purple slate stone. Each room has an ensuite bathroom (with hot water showers) and comfortable chairs on the veranda for viewing the forest and clouds that drift by in the valley.
