Activities

Mountain Gorilla in Bwindi

The focus of activities at Bwindi is upon its resident mountain gorillas, with two main habituated troops to be found in the areas closest to the park entrance, although it can still be hard work finding them!. Permits are in short supply, so early booking is always recommended. The forest is home to another 10 primate species, and myriad bird species, making any time spent in or around the national park hugely rewarding.
