Sima Camp

Sima's owner, Rob Barbour, has been convinced by absolutely everyone who has ever visited this stunning location, to open this beach retreat to a very limited number of fortunate guests.
This will allow them to stay in this idyllic and secluded spot, right on the Indian Ocean beachfront. But true to their style, the impact these (lucky) visitors will make on this natural habitat will be minimised.

Sima is perfect for the adventurous, with its focus on walking and beachcombing, whilst ofering a high level of exclusivity. The camp is assembled specially for each set of guests - accommodation is provided within basic tents, with bucket showers and waterless composting toilets - rather like Kisampa, which is also owned by the Barbour family. The location provides the perfect opportunity to indulge in fascinating walks along the beach and game drives into the bordering Saadani National Park, as well as bare- foot sumptuous dinners on the sand.

A visit to Sima Camp can be bolted on to Kisampa (or elsewhere), to create the perfect combination. Regarding transfers, there are scheduled flights into Saadani, although journeys from Kisampa are done via 4-WD after a game drive through Saadani National Park.
