Grassland Bushman Lodge

Bushmen at Grassland

Grassland Bushman Lodge is located next to a vast stretch of unoccupied land between Ghanzi ranches and (to the west of) the well known Central Kalahari Game Reserve, the second largest game reserve in the world.  With no other lodges within 100km they can confidently claim to offer an exclusive experience - which includes an all-inclusive package with guests paying no extras for activities. This lodge really does provide tour operators with an opportunity to offer something new.

Their location allows total freedom to participate in day and night game drives, whilst one of the real joys of a visit to Grassland Bushman Lodge is the opportunity to interact with the local San bushmen - experiencing their ways of life and perhaps even learning a few new unexpected skills along the way. Grassland also offer horse riding safaris.

Owner, Neeltjie de Graaff-Bower's family moved to Botswana five generations ago, in 1898, sent by Cecil John Rhodes to protect the area from foreign invaders. They now welcome overseas visitors with open arms!
