Botswana - endless horizons...and now affordable!

Without doubt some of the world's finest wildlife viewing opportunities are offered in Northern Botswana within the Okavango Delta, Moremi and Chobe. Kamili has partners here, as well as within the Central Kalahari region, which offers not only game-viewing, but also inspirational cultural exchanges with the resident San bushmen.

Kamili has three superb properties within Botswana to allow your clients to enjoy a wide range of unique experiences. Operators can quickly and easily combine these lodges to create stunning (yet affordable) itineraries either direct or via Travel Wild - a Maun based inbound operator.

Okavango & Moremi

Mokoro at Mboma

The Okavango River flows in from the highlands of Angola and soaks into Botswana's sands, forming a 15,000 sq. km network of water channels, lagoons, swamps and islands, making it into the largest inland delta system in the world. This area then supports such large numbers of animals and birds that it has inevitably become one of the most desirable wildlife destinations on the planet.

Central Kalahari GR

Bushmen in the Kalahari

At over 52,000 sq km, the CKGR is Africa's largest protected area, yet it receives far fewer visitor than most. It was originally created to preserve the ways of life of the local San people and to many they provide the greatest draw to the region. This said, the reserve still supports large numbers of animals - especially the brown hyena for which it is famous.
