Kamili meeting success at WTM 2008

We proved popular at WTM, as a result of our extensive pre-show marketing, as well as our impactful stand, complete with huge (handstitched) gorilla**! We held 30+ minute meetings and gave presentations to the following operators, who have requested more extensive follow-up meetings :
Over the coming weeks, we'll be out and about, visiting everyone on the list above and in the right hand column. We've also prepared a "Post WTM" campaign (post and email) entitled "Time to hit the road" encouraging those that we didn't catch up with to arrange an appointment. *We're also heading over to Amsterdam to follow up with neetings made at WTM. We've already been contacted by three of these operators who are updating their websites! Give us your feedback.
Simon Beck, WTM's Africa Regional Director said "Kamili's stand was the busiest in the Africa section. Kamili is without doubt our most enthusiastic and exciting new exhibitor. And the gorilla was an inspired move!".
**Our gorilla did prove incredibly popular and we're estimating he featured in 500+ photographs and was used by numerous TV crews at the show. As we plan to use him at other events, WE NEED A NAME FOR THE GORILLA.....any suggestions? Send them to mandy@kamilisafaris.com

Kamili Curry Night
Eighteen Kamili partners, along with 3 journalists, 7 UK operators and 2 German operators joined Mandy & Tim for a relaxed curry in the Docklands....not all business chat we hope, but maybe a bit of networking!
The girls step up!
Mandy completed her first solo Kamili presentations and these seem to have gone really well, too. We were joined on our stand on the Monday, by Amanda Gillespie who usually only holds the fort if we are ever both away. She'lll be spending more and more time working with us in the future.
